King Tut (or Tutankhamun) was a boy King and pretty much was used by people around him to change back what his father did which was believing in one god. Mostly his High Advisors and Priests who wanted their power back returned to the old ways. King Tut's demise (a theory) was he broke his leg and died of gangrene. He was a blurb on the history page until Howard Carter found his tomb in 1922. The most famous piece that was removed from the tomb was his Death Mask. Made of 24 pounds of Gold, inlaid with Lapis, Carnelian, Quartz, Turquoise, Obsidian and some Colored Glass. Many pieces of the tomb were sent around the world in Exhibition. This was in the 1970's and I was one of those millions looking in awe at what had been found. Here is a link to where 5000 pieces of Art and History from Tut's Tomb in 2018 will be on display.
