This wonderful Green Malachite  (derived from the Greek “molochitis” meaning “mallow green stone”.) necklace is 22.5 inches and features natural stones with graduating sies, from 6mm to 1.5mm.  It weighs just over 82g.

The stones on this necklace have natural irregular banding, and are rich in colour.  Each semi precious stone is separated by 5 tiny green beads, and the necklace is secured around the neck by a screw in metal clasp.

Fun fact: In the Middle Ages Malachite was worn to protect from Black Magic and sorcery. Mining Malachite began back as far as 4000 BC by the Ancient Egyptians!
